Dear Mayor Denise!

Together with the Tysmenytsia Municipal Council and our entire community, please accept our warmest congratulations on the 250th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States.

The birth of the USA remains a "shining city on a hill" for everyone fighting for liberty. The American Declaration of Independence proved that people have the right to shape their own future. Back in 1857, our national poet Taras Shevchenko foresaw Ukraine's rebirth under a righteous law — with its own George Washington. America's journey reminds us that independence must be defended by every generation.

Today, Ukraine is fighting its own fierce war for freedom against tyranny. In this struggle, the magnificent history of the United States serves as our source of inspiration. We will forever cherish the unwavering support and solidarity extended to us by the American people since the very first days of the full-scale invasion.

The history of friendship between Tysmenytsia and the City of Bandera runs deep; we became sister cities back in 2011 and maintained a very close and warm connection for many years. Although our active communication has unfortunately drifted in recent years due to objective global challenges and circumstances, we hold a sincere desire and strong commitment to fully revive and restart our partnership.

The shared values that united us 15 years ago remain unshakeable.

We are convinced that renewing our cooperation will open up new horizons for mutual progress. We would be genuinely delighted to restore our regular dialogue, discuss new collaborative initiatives, and re-establish a firm connection between our municipalities.

On this landmark day, I wish you excellent health and great success, and to the citizens of Bandera — continuous prosperity and outstanding achievements.
